Most famous opera being dialo and annaeus. *ballad opera = any british stage production from 1728 to 1760 that combines a comic or sentimental play with music numbers that re-used common tunes . 41/69 songs were from popular songs of the time. So popular and producer made so much money on it he was able to build covent.
