Before when you"d see a movie, the movie would begin with god save the queen, then you"d have some shorts, then you"d have a. B-movies were considered the trash but now they"re classics. Films in those days were on a loop, so if you turn up in the middle of a movie, you can stay and just wait till it starts over to see what you missed. In those days going to the cinema was a social experience and the cinemas were much bigger. By the late 1960s, a few things changed the experience. Tv: meant didnt have to go out and spend money, could watch in home, so entertainment was much more domesticated. Meant that tv could cater the many things the cinema was doing so cinema had to compete with.
