Cleo from 5 to 7 analysis: art cinema characteristics: Opening limited exposition and numerous enigmas. Example= the slow progression of the cancer enigma and the indirect revealing of cleo"s identity as a singer. Protagonist not heavily driven by goals cleo is essentially just running around paris. Could say that her goal is to make it through the day so that she can talk to her doctor about her cancer. Her actions are by chance and made on a whim she just kind of goes about and does random things: she is at the mercy of her own paranoia. Tortured inside herself nothing external that she has to fight against. One thing does not inherently lead to the next action.
