Contradiction in the movie between teamwork/unification and individualism. The cars showed that this is the english and everybody else. The english cars were obvious to see. Inherent idea of british superiority in the cars and that james bond is not truly british. James bond"s car in the car (the fast car, sports car, the one he uses) that gets destroyed. English superiority of mini-ness: the smaller the english-man, the more likely they are to succeed. Minis are owned by a british company in those days. So supporting the idea that british motor company is the best in the world. If the italian = the height of modernity (best motor industry) and at the same time the british cars dominate (in this movie), shows.
