When asked a question to testify against a friend involved in an accident it was observed that statistics and responses differed in different countries. Switzerland and the united states voted that they would testify and certain asian countries showed relatively low percentage. This difference is attributed to the culture of a country. Culture is a system with values and norms shared among a group of people or society. Norms are cultural contexts based on an individual"s basic knowledge of what others do and what they think others should do. Values provide a context within which a societies norms are established. Society is formed when a group of individuals come together.
