Based on the data i accumulated, mood regulation and communication seem to be intertwined and were present most often. Music provides many functions including aesthetic enjoyment and entertainment, aiding focus, setting an atmosphere/mood and to increase a physical response. Music can transmit a mood or emotion onto others due to a specific type of genre chosen for a desired outcome. This is shown through the dining hall where they are exhibiting diversity and cultures coming together in one playlist as many diverse people communicate to one another in that setting. It can appeal to all types of people in this case.
