Feminism is equality between men and women. There is a misconception that feminism is just for women but all types of people have bene ted. Egalitarian relationships can bring greater comfort (equity theory) Boys should not seek mental help because it makes them less masculine. All of us are equal and qualities that are masculine and feminine should be valued equally. We tend to value masculine styles of communication as more important especially in the us. Perspective taking = what we don"t want to do is to try and speak on behalf of someone else. Change is possible = there is still more that can be done. Information is the foundation of making effective choices = we should actively seek out information. With knowledge comes responsibility = there is a difference between being a feminist and being an activist. Patriarchy is a system that bene ts men over women, rule of the father.
