80-90% of boys with girl inclinaions setle on the male sex, but likely to become gay men (more common for girly boys to be gay than masculine girls to be lesbian) Begins very early in most cases, but usually desists by adolescence; if not, high likelihood of eventual transiioning. Predicts homosexuality, especially in men, and only 1/10 become actually transgendered as adults. Persistent and allowing parents are more likely to produce a child that eventually transiions (boost of roughly 50% to transgender rates) Narraive of the female essence is mostly outdated. Type 1: feminine, begins in childhood and persists, acive adult sex lives, aroused by male body (androphilia), usually become homosexual (preference for men) Type 2: less gendered, starts in adolescence, sexual crossdressing, aroused by female body (autogynephilia), less acive sexually, more commonly heterosexual, bisexual and asexual.
