Co2 is not the most potent, but is found at the highest level so is the largest contributor: impact of rising temperatures: Increase in intensity and frequency of tropical storms. Reduce ice and snow cover as well as permafrost. Increase oceanic acidity: we are already starting to see these effects. There is an increase in sea level, decrease in northern. Hemisphere snow cover and increase in ocean acidity. Sea levels increase thus: changes in climate will affect ecosystems on many levels. Affects physiology, behavior, birth death and growth rates. Biomes are predicted to shift too: alpine plants have an elevational shift upwards and butter y species move upwards too. There can be an increase in overlap of species distribution.
