People had a problem that aristotle"s work had no reference to god. Aquinas changes this and creates scholaticism: scholatism was a reason to support catholocism. Fewer peasants leads to more demand for goods, so they were payed better. Humanism; patrons; medici family: patron: wealthy people who supported the arts and learning. They were extremely important in the renaissance because they funded the creation of lots of art and knowledge (esp. art)
