Big themes of class: how media represent and change identity; how digital systems change prior to media; how media work in a global contest; how media shape political groups . All media are the result of speci c design. Design is the process of making choices about how something should work and how something should look intentionality and purpose. It addresses a need arranging elements in such a way as best to accomplish a particular purpose. There is no such things as information overload, just bad design. If something is cluttered and/or confusing, x your design. Media as information - digital media adds a whole new layer.
