Organisms are divided into three domains a. b. All species must find food, escape predators, reproduce i. *does growth occur by adding to the body continuously or by molding. Allowed organisms to acquire more food while digesting previously acquired food. Technically the digestive cavity is outside of our living body a. b. A membrane is not crossed, food doesn"t actually go inside a cell. Enzymes excreted, break down food to molecular components, absorbed through membranes into bloodstream.
