Telemachus"s gap also seems impossible (getting his father back). He longs for his wife: zeus thinks highly of him (pg. 5: odysseus surpasses all men, especially with his mind. Comrades: they"re trying to get home but will fail due to their own foolishness. Aegisthus: he was trying to get to agamemnon"s wife, he was willing to transgress boundaries and reason in order to reach his goals a. i. He does not learn the lesson the gods try to teach him. He ignored their warning to not sleep with agamemnon"s wife: nestor brings up aegisthus as a story of warning. What will happen when odysseus gets back? (pg. Old man of the sea does as well (pg. Xenia-refers to this relationship between strangers and guests (in this case between athena & telemachus).
