Some guy named lewis taught interior stuff at some school. School environments push forth a certain kind of learning, certain kind of behavior. Mass schooling, the idea that every child should get education, developed in the 19th century. Now more schools were needed since more children were attending. Lancasterian school is named after joseph lancaster, one of the early designers of schools. The best school has right angles and things shouldn"t protrude from the walls. All the desks at which the students sit should face the teacher"s desk . 17 inches should be allowed for each student . Lancasterian schools set an example for what schools in england would look like for the rest of the century. Er robson"s schools are very heavily timetabled in uenced by prussian/german stuff.
