Summary (100-150 words max): after rc defeats the dragon, una"s parents, the king and queen of the land, come out of hiding to mark the dragon"s death. The whole kingdom joins together to celebrate after spending months in hiding from the dragon. A messenger then comes running in to say that the rc/una engagement can"t happen because rc is still engaged to another woman, fidessa. Rc argues that he was engaged under false pretenses, that fidessa is actually duessa, and so the engagement is null. Una agrees with rc"s account of this and asks her father to check if the messenger is archimago, which it is. They imprison him and the celebration continues until rc has to leave to continue his journey for fq.
