Theatre- theatre, then, is a dramatic action, a pretense performed to an audience . The transitory nature of theatre- does not last, only takes place in the moment that it occurs. Doings (event, behavior) the execution of an activity. Performance art- characteristically live, show of artistic ability. (dance, music, circus, clowning, ballet, opera) Taking on a roll that comes with expectations with different dresses and behaviors (sister, student, daughter, friend) 19th century called operating theatre for surgeries. Theatre of operations used metaphorically in military discourse. Used to show areas of war and activity.
