Japanese american applied for naturalization and didn"t qualify because he was not white. Determining race on where people come from. Difficult for people in the united states to think or talk about what has happened in the past dealing with race and minorities. Colored and minority people could not get education passed the 8th grade, this carries on to the things you are able to do after school. (careers, etc. )
