SOC 3223 Lecture 15: Child gender roles development and stay at home fathers
Document Summary
The effects of stay at home fathers on gender roles. As society progresses to have more and more equality between genders we have started to see more stay at home dads. I would like to study the children that grow up with stay at home dads and compare them to those who have stay at home mothers. I have a theory that the children who grew up being raised primarily by their fathers will have more traits that society deems masculine. I would also like to see the effects that the gender of the child has on this experiment. One last question that i would like to ask is if who you are raised by has any correlation with sexual preferences. In order to begin this experiment, i would post flyers around osu asking for individuals who had a stay at home parent growing up to partake in some interviews.
