Not differentiating between marriage and common law. A lot of other cultures don"t care if you are married or common law same rules apply. Unlike intensive agriculture (where lawyers make money off of marriage) where it can be tense to even live with someone out of wedlock. Means who you are allowed to have sex with and not; and what are the rules. Not allowed to have sex with a person who is your kin. But every culture has a different view of incest and that makes the rules variable. You must marry within your extended kin-ship group. To keep the blood pure and to keep wealth within the same family; inheritance. You must marry someone outside your kin group. Most cultures don"t allow first cousin marriage, but second cousin is usually allowed. Your siblings kids and your kids are allowed to marry regardless.
