Paris goes to see menelaus and falls in love with his wife helen. Takes helen back to troy with him. Odysseus, king of ithaca (comes up with trojan horse) Laocoon (warns against greeks, killed by poseidon and his serpents) Penelope (wife of odysseus, wards off many suitors) athena. Odysseus and his crew get captured by a cyclops, odysseus stabs the cyclops"s eye and gets away, but poseidon curses them for their journey. Penelope says she needs to weave a burial shroud for her father-in-law before she can marry a suitor. She weaves by day and unravels by night. Odysseus returns and reveals himself to telemachus but stays in disguise and restrings his own bow.
