Shoket"s view is that human beings have no free will and that all the free decisions i seem to be making are an illusion (405). He mentions benajmin libet; he also mentions the confabulation of giggling split-brains. Agatha rightly notes that shoket is drawing philosophical conclusions: he is making claims about the nature of the self, free will, etc (406). So, one thing to note is that philosophical questions have not gone way.
