Islam isn"t just a religion; it"s also the founder and living soul of a big world culture with a long history extending over 14 centuries. Islamic history includes the historical presence of several countries" populations, from north africa to malaysia, over large periods of time. India since the seventh century and with other aspects of chinese culture for the past millennium (and perhaps even before that, going back to the century after the rise of islam) Islam built a culture that has for over a millennium dominated the middle belt of the old.
