Passive immunity: an individual is given antibodies, against a particular antigen, this type of immunity is short-lived, this can happen, naturally, antibodies are passed, across he placenta, during breastfeeding, artificially, via an injection of antibodies. Disorders of the immune system: autoimmune disease, a disease in which the body"s cells are attacked as if they were foreign, attacked by, t cells, cytotoxic, antibodies, examples, multiple sclerosis, lupus, myasthenia gravis, rheumatoid arthritis.
