Comparison and contrast of two sets of great thinkers. Reading, writing, arithmetic: elementary school available to (cid:862)all free (cid:272)hild(cid:396)e(cid:374)(cid:863), male and female. Public schooling should be incredibly decentralized (controlled by local communities) In order to vote, you have to have basic literacy skills. Education should be paid for, controlled and sustained by an interested public. Schools should embrace children from a variety of backgrounds. Education must be taught by the spirit, methods, and discipline of a free society. Education should be provided by well-trained, professional teachers.
