Context especially important for girls: important predictors for involvement in sexual intercourse whether friends are doing it or whether they have sexually permissive attitudes, emotional intimacy. Authoritative parenting associated with adolescents who are: less likely to become sexually active at early age, less likely to engage in risky sexual activity.
