Endoscopy: lighted scopes that are introduced through the mouth or anus. Physician may order a stool for ova and parasites. Stool for occult blood : obtain the hemoccult card, smear bm on one side, cover flap, add developer. If blue ring appears around bm pt is losing blood in the stool.
