Can only study group effect, no individual differences. Cross- sequential- subjects from different age groups are studied repeatedly over a period of months or years. Combines benefits and reduces problems of other deisngs. Nurture is the environment and nature is the innate parts of you. Both contribute to aspects of who we are. Most developmental psychologists agree the development is a product of an interaction between nature and nurture.
