Self-fulfilling prophecy: their expectations actually cause the other person to act in the way they fear. Detachment from social relationships and a restricted range of emotional expression. Indifference toward other people -- no desire for contact. Does not enjoy close relationships; has few (if any) friends behavior. Lack of close friends, paranoid social anxiety. Paranoia of other people rather than negative evaluation from others. Do not experience strong emotions and have low emotional expression. Schizotypal pd (a) -- most similar to schizophrenia. Highly eccentric, odd behavior and cognitive distortions. Accompanied by social deficits, discomfort w/ close relationships. Odd beliefs or magical thinking inconsistent w/ cultural norms. Persistent disregard for/violation of the rights of others; violation of laws & moral conduct.
