Ingested needed for normal physiology (food) and reproducion (nest site) Consumpion should reduce the resource"s availability to other individuals. Consumpion leaves less for yourself, conspeciics, and members of other species. Factors can operate at the edge of a range to limit spaial distribuion. Factors operate within range to restrict local distribuion. Condiions and resources can interact to restrict distribuions.
