It also calls for urea via chemotaxis which will raise the ph as well. It produces caga toxin which is what ultimately causes the ulcer. A part adp ribosyl ates are a regulatory protein. This just causes watery diarrhea which causes severe dehydration. Administration of rehydration salts can reduce mortality and easily rehydrate your body. Cholera lives in biofilms in brackish water in marine copepods. Dysentery is inflammatory diarrhea instead of secretory diarrhea. Shigella can cause this and is spread via food, flies, fingers, and feces.
