The mind is not part of the brain not in the brain. The mind exists in other parts of the body. Freud tries to figure out where the mind is. Mind is structured with conscious and unconscious. Unconscious is things you don"t want to think about. Example: desires, wants, motivations we don"t want. Drives: motivates certain expression and actions personal preferences. Preferences are certain desires that drive unconscious actions. Motivation to liking something comes from unconscious. Through liking something you can discover unknowns.
