Bus segregation: mlk jr. coordinates growing protests. Civil rights council work in little rock, ar. Agribusiness/recreation/oil is weak and companies have low taxes. More white collar jobs, unskilled workers with the middle class. People married young- men could support their family. Poor/underclass: elderly, blacks, people under age of 18.
