As well as being a tennis couch for young children, she has a newborn at home. Her commute to work is twenty minutes long. She complains of pain and muscle spasms in her neck, and frequent headaches especially during exercise and prolonged sitting. She has difficulty raising her right arm overhead and her neck pain is increased with prolonged sitting, driving, lifting, and carrying. Pain with head movement (up/down and side to side) Decreased rom in right arm, especially overhead. Goals: the patient will be able to sit in the car for 20 minutes in order to drive to work daily within 4 weeks. Success will be reported by the patient: the patient will demonstrate 5/5 strength in shoulder mmt over multiple repeated tests in 6 weeks.
