Socially perspective: an individual is stressed out as they want to be part of the group. What makes things differently is how we control our stress by understanding what our stressors are and what life events affect this. In order to cope one needs to be in a crisis or life situations. Endocrine system secretes hormone that helps in emergencies (inflammatory response to injury within the body- helps us survive) It hits the brain first, to dig up other memories to help you know what you need to do in response to the action. Allostatic load: the biological perspective; biological cost of stress which is high when you are relaxed, you are in a low stress.
