Document Summary
Rikki rogers says, strength doesn"t come from what you can do. It comes from overcoming the things you once thought you couldn"t. coming back from an injury is never easy. Regardless of how the injury occurred, the road to recovery is filled with physical and mental roadblocks. Luckily, physical therapists are there to make this journey that much better by helping patients increase their functionality, mobility, and overall well-being with a program that is specifically designed to them. Most commonly, physical therapy is thought of as a rehabilitation tool after injury. It can be utilized after a work-related, sports-related, or a reoccurring musculoskeletal injury; just to name a few occurrences. Physical therapists are trained to restore function and movement, relieve pain, improve strength and conditioning, promote long-term health, reduce the duration of an injury, prevent the risk of future injury, and correct muscle imbalances.
