Document Summary

There is no one way to raise a child. Regardless of the situation surrounding the child, they always make the best of it and see the good in it all. It helps to make you focus on what is actually happening a lot more. Had a stronger impact than if there would have been dialogue. All the babies had access to western style medicine except the namibian baby. Mongolian and namibian moms both returned to work almost immediately but. We saw the japanese and american babies going to daycare and caregiver/baby. Both are important components in a child"s socialization. Even the traditions of secular (atheist or agnostic) families shape children by exposing them to particular customs and belief styles (e. g. science and facts over miracles and faith). Religions tend to intersect with families through a variety of way most obviously though rites of passage and religious ceremonies (e. g. naming ceremonies, baptism, first communion, bris, batmitsvah, poy sang long, quinceanera)
