Initial steps in an exploration of the evolution of same-sex sexual attraction: people are inclined to equate natural and good, but natural doesn"t constitute moral good. If sexual orientation is at all heritable, why didn"t natural selection eliminate this trait: analogy: alleles for celibacy or early suicide, their genes don"t get passed on.
