Techniques lead to discoveries, which lead to ideas (hypotheses/theories) Confidence in the conclusions depends on the strength of the research. Dualism- the mind and the body both exist. The mind is separate from the brain, but it controls it an the body. Monism- conscious experience is inseparable from the brain. Some concept of god, self, and possibly geometric axioms.
