People and objects seem distorted (walking down the street, you look at cars and people and see distorted, seem like robots your own perception gets skewed) Depersonalization: experiences of detachment from one"s mental processes or body as though one is in a dream. Professor had an incident where you was reaching to the tv and she didn"t recognize her arm for a few seconds. If you can"t get out of it that is a problem because it can"t be a disorder (happens excessive stress, marijuana, etc) Symptoms are not explained by substances, other dissociative disorders, or another psychological disorders. People who experience these often have a personality disorder, depression, or anxiety disorder. Might be triggered by something (usually is) and they are unresponsive in the dissociative state.
