Appeals court will hear the justice department vs. federal court today and make a decision. 4:4 decision in supreme court means that appeals court"s decision stands. The study of a population based on factors such as age, race, sex, economic status, level of education, income level and employment, among others. Used by gov"t, corporations, and non-gov"t organizations to learn more about a population"s characteristics for many purposes, including policy development and economic market research. Demographic trends are also important, as the size of different demographic groups will change over time as a result of economic, cultural, and political circumstances. Demographic difference - grandparents and grand children may look at certain issues differently due to who they are, their gender, and age. Different groups will vote differently on issues. This country is moving more towards diversity.
