Division of labor and conlicts b/w classes. Criiques: there"s more texture than described by marx. Analysis of structure and culture funcions in a social system (macro-sociological perspecive) Models formed from the organic system (biological-all parts of the system that contribute to the whole) Goals are interrelated, all together = whole of society, existed before & ater us. If one part falls, other parts try to make up for it, if they don"t succeed, the system collapses and dies (social and biology = similar) Society as airport components: pilots, maintenance crews, air traic controllers, baggage handlers, tickeing and reservaion personnel, all of society is together.
