Wc bm violence should be even higher than wc wm violence b/c wc bms have less access to blue collar jobs. Why do wc/lc black males have less access to blue collar jobs: after wwii, huge black migration from south to north. Blacks drawn to blue collar industrial jobs available in northern cities: blue collar industrial jobs are important b/c: Allow man to support family with little education. Traditionally, a source of social mobility for poor immigrants (ie euro immigrants in the 1920s) By 1960s and 1970s, these jobs suburbanized: white blue collar workers suburbanized with these jobs.
