In 2011, survey persons aged 12 and over in: 80,000 households, 143,000 persons. 12 and over, can project from sample to us population (ex. Pulling two strands of pasta, if they are done, you take all the pasta out: survey r"s face-to-face on 1st interview, follow up by phone. Interview r" every 6 month for 3 years then replace: ask r"s about their victimization experiences. Personal crimes (crimes against person: aggravated/simple assault, rape and sexual assault, robbery. Murder is not included due to its rarity. Property crimes (crimes against households: household burglary, theft, motor vehicle theft, the ncvs provide information not included in the ucr. Information on reporting rates: reasons why people do not report crime to the police.
