The collective sum total of physical, mental, emotional, and social characteristics of an individual that become organized into patterns of behaviors. Characteristics: tough-minded, direct, exacting, skeptical, determined to win. Examples: george patton, putin, margaret thatcher. Characteristics: people skills (social awareness / relationship management, verbal skills, compassionate, intuitive. Examples: abraham lincoln, bill clinton, gandhi. Characteristics: curious, creative, spontaneous, daring, adaptable, energetic. Ocean 5 dimensions of personality: openness to experiences. Reflects a person"s high degree of intellectual curiosity and creativity, as well as the preference a person has for novelty and variety. Individuals are classified as inventive and curious vs. consistent and cautious: conscientiousness. Reflects a person"s perseverance in the face of challenges, and ability to complete tasks in disciplined and well organized ways. Individuals are classified as efficient and organized vs. easy-going and careless: extraversion.
