Group awareness - self-identification response of minority group members to subordination and discrimination by the majority. Prejudice - irrational, negative attitude about certain groups, that paired with the power to act an absence of sanctions for doing so can lead to discriminatory behavior. Job-related stereotypes: asians, women, overweigh, older workers, etc.
