For a human is to be happy. Our proper function is to be happy. Proper function is tied to virtue and excellence. The virtue of an excellence knife that it is very sharp. Proper function, viture, and excellence is all tied to teleology. The good: is the purpose of everything. Good is what the virtuous thing does.
