Family shows are very important to arenas, not as much to other places. Early years- independent promoter and the show; split point- after expenses, show got 60% and promoter got 40% Today- all functions are vertically integrated within the company; pay all the costs and make all the profits. They employ promoters in all major markets and do all their own advertising. It is up to them to sell tickets.
