Choctaws and chickasaws got their land taken away from them; muskogees continued to fight back and didn"t want to give in. Muskogee nation signed the treaty of fort jackson in 1814 (surrender document) Were at war with the us: seminole war (longest foreign war) Result: seminoles were never conquered and never signed a treaty with us. The last of the mohicans - novel that presented the us origin story, natives die off. Passed the indian removal act in 1830 - gave away cherokee lands for land in.
