Deposition-taking verbal evidence from somebody; must be taken promptly so. Clinton refused to give deposition invoked executive privilege things are not forgotten or made up. Just like nixon he was using privilege to deny someone else of their rights to a fair trial. Supreme court ruled that clinton had to give deposition.
