You want as much money as you want for your private property. The property owner and the city negotiate and agree and its fair because this is what you agreed on. The government can pay you for your property and take it away from you. I(cid:374) a(cid:373)eri(cid:272)a, the go(cid:448)er(cid:374)(cid:373)e(cid:374)t (cid:272)a(cid:374)(cid:859)t take (cid:455)our propert(cid:455) u(cid:374)less the(cid:455) pa(cid:455) for it. However, there was a big bump in the road. The city of new london at one time was very active and was doing quite well. The naval moved out of new london, ct and people moved out, businesses moved out as well. There was an economic problem because of less tax. Now they are in pretty bad financial state.
